Meet the Coaches of PCFB
Coach Tristan Weber
With almost two decades of coaching under his belt, Coach Weber is excited to bring his knowledge and understanding of the game to the Park Cities Football Club. He began coaching in 2006 with Randy Allen at Highland Park, coaching the wide receivers for 9 years and quarterbacks for 5 years along with being the Passing Game Coordinator. During his time at HP from 2006-2019 (where he coached with Coach Herron), he helped coach the 2007 state runner-up, 2013 state semi-finalist, and the 2016, 2017, and 2018 state championship teams; coaching great players such as John Stephen Jones and Chandler Morris. Leaving HP in 2020, he went to be the Passing Game Coordinator at Southlake Carroll, helping guide the Quinn Ewers led offense to the state championship game where they fell to Austin Westlake. His most recent coaching stop was at Allen where he went to join Coach Chad Morris’ staff as his Offensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach.
Coach Weber’s focus now is back in the Park Cities where he started in 2006 when he and Coach Herron first started working together. He desires to help the next generation of great Scot football players grow into the best versions of themselves by teaching them the basics of football through the lens of leadership, teamwork, and discipline.
Coach Chris Herron
Coach Herron’s second love to his family is football. Growing up in Abilene, Texas, under Friday Night Lights, Coach Herron developed a love for the game at an early age. From 1991-1995, Coach Herron had the honor of playing for Coach Randy Allen at Abilene Cooper High School. In 2006, things came full circle when he was hired by Coach Allen to coach football at Highland Park Middle School with Coach Weber. He quickly became the Athletic Coordinator at the middle school and coaching at HPHS before he left “official” coaching to enter the business world and support his wife, Katherine, as she started to grow her tutoring business, Hola HP. Coach Herron has always found joy in coaching his kids, Anna Kate, Luke and Hunter, in all sports and speaking football with anyone and everyone who will listen. Coach Herron's dream has been to start up PCFB for future Scots, and he is beyond excited to begin this venture with his best friend, Coach Weber.
